Pterostilbene is a biologically active polyphenol, which are a family of naturally-occuring organic compounds often found in foods such as grapes, peanuts, and blueberries.
What are we doing with
Pterostilbene?
Due to pterostilbene’s health benefits stated in literature, we will be genetically engineering E. coli bacteria to produce increased yields of pterostilbene for the treatment of neuroinflammation in early stage Alzheimer’s disease.
