Hi, my name is Leon. I am an ambitious young boy who is in over his head but dreams of becoming a doctor. I usually like to watch anime, play games and so on. I am a dreamer and often design my own gadgets at home. That is why i came to iGEM. I wanted to bring new things to biology in my own approach. I’m lucky enough to be part of the SCIE team. Hello, My name is Nicole! I am very interested in the area of biochemistry, specifically genetics and synthetic biology. So I joined Greatbay_SCIE 2022 team and hope to contribute more to my team with my knowledge and efforts, hopefully we can make a contribution to the future of synthetic biology and the society. Besides from science, I am also particularly interested in languages, and I plan to study other languages during summer holidays. Hello! I'm Hannah, a G2 student from SCIE. I like to play sports, video games, and learn random stuff from YouTube. After this year's deep dive into biology, I realized although I do love this field, I'm more interested in economics and business, so I will be working hard on trying to land our project in real-world settings. I am really happy that I was able to have this year of IGEM experience with all the 'learning gods' on the team!

“Look at that guy, he must be one of those greasy discord mod who haven’t gone outside for at least one month.” I get those stereotypical comment on my physique every day. But instead of moderating an online chatting group, I prefer to moderate the genome of all those microorganisms and make them useful to humanity. As the student leader for the experimental parts of our project, my passion for synthetic biology also grows each day I spent in the lab. I can’t wait for the success of our project and achieving FabRevivo!

Hi, this is Cemol from Greatbay_SCIE. I am responsible for (a little) wiki construction and lab work in the team. I thought I could contribute much to the technological part in our team, but it seems that I was wrong(╥╯^╰╥). I’m just a normal student being enthusiastic about Biochemistry, so barring accidents, I think I may dedicate myself to this course and be a scientist in the future.

Hellooooo~ I am Nara, an internet surfer who is in love with classical music and musicals. For our project, I did experiments and some HP. It is such an amazing journey working with my remarkable teammates and making FabRevivo (somewhat) come true. Through working on FabRevivo, I am more aware of the problems caused by fast fashion. Now I always ask myself if I need a garment or just want one before deciding on buying clothes (maybe that’s because I see phantom Celly faces at the window whispering “save the planet, don't buy it” at me).

Hey, Sabrina here - greeting you with exceptionally dark eye circles and receding hairline. Anyway, I am truly, genuinely, and gratefully thankful for this four-lettered word (starts with an I and ends with an M, in the middle are two letters, G and E) that has been embedded in my life for half a year. As humble as I try to be, I am indeed the human practice leader of our team (probably the only one with the gut to endure laborious social interaction). Doing HP and thinking about it almost 24/7 these past months have prompted me to transition from a shy kid (200% introverted) to a bold socializing machine. Well, HP ultimately stands for more than just Happiness and Peace. After all, while helping out in our lab, I am glad to have acquired some beneficial skills that keep me from fainting in our co2-filled laboratory and I feel proud to declare that the pleasant smell of LB would be my top 1 pick - favorite perfume fragrance of the year.

Traveling is also a great way of relaxation for me. Being a member of GB SCIE offers me precious opportunity to meet many outstanding students who share similar interests and goals in biology with me. I am Boxiang Wang, SI of GreatBay_SCIE, CTO and co-founder of Links-Spider Technology Co., Ltd. I am an iGEMer who has led teams for nine years, loving synthetic biology and educating young people. I am Qing Liang, the Co-founder of Links-SpiderLab. I run an independent lab in Shenzhen, providing customized science curriculum and kits and organizing a variety of after-school programs. As the lab administrator, I initiate project-based learning and invite prestigious scientists to have lectures and seminars. I also invest the biomaterial products development.

Hi, I am Roger. Believe or not, this photo is not what I look like now. Roger is one of Greatbay_SCIE's advisors, and he helped establishing the team in the beginning. Although he didn't get in touch with E.coli, S.cerevisae or K.max very much this year, he still guided the minions to work - by modelling. He is now fighting with terrifying monsters.

Greetings Earthling, I've been expecting you, another visitor to this little self introduction. My name is Connor Danger Zhao, as you can see, danger is my middle name. I have blessed the GB SCIE with my divine knowledge, skills and a touch of my [maybe bad] luck. When I first saw the previously 40 people team, I thought 'this may be too great of a sin'. My name is Cheng Yu. This year, I work as one of the advisors of Greatbay_SCIE. Actually, it is my second time participating iGEM competition. During these few months, not only did I fascinated by our talented teammates, I was mesmerized by the fabulous experiments, which were a series of ambitious works.
