Bellow are all of the parts our team has made during our project.

Part No. Type Description
BBa_K4431000 Regulatory catM- transcription factor that binds to catechol, from the A. baylyi ADP1 genome.
BBa_K4431001 Regulatory catM-binding. This sequance contains the binding region for the catM transcription factor.
BBa_K4431002 Composite This plasmid is designed for E. coli. It acts as a biosensor for the presence of benzoate and catechol. Benzoate is metabolised into catechol as a part of the ben pathway. In the presence of benzoate, the benM transcription factor will bind to the benM binding region and induce the transcription of fuGFP causing green fluorescence of the cell. When the benzoate is degraded into catechol, the catM transcription factor will bind to the catM binding region and induce the expression of a red fluorescent protein (mCherry). Thus, the construct is able to sense the presence and degradation of benzoate.
BBa_K4431003 Coding benA from the benABCD cluster in A. baylyi ADP1.
BBa_K4431005 Coding benC from the benABCD cluster in A. baylyi ADP1.
BBa_K4431006 Coding benD from the benABCD cluster in A. baylyi ADP1.
BBa_K4431007 Coding benA from the benABCD cluster in Rhodococcus sp.
BBa_K4431008 Coding benC from the benABCD cluster in Rhodococcus sp.
BBa_K4431009 Coding benD from the benABCD cluster in Rhodococcus sp.
BBa_K44310010 Regulatory benM transcription factor that binds in the presence of benzoate, from the A. baylyi ADP1 genome.
BBa_K4431011 Regulatory benM binding region from the A. baylyi ADP1 genome.
BBa_K4431012 Coding benE benzoate transporter + His from the A. baylyi ADP1 genome. NEW!
BBa_K4431013 Coding benE benzoate transporter + His from the Rhodococcus sp. genome. NEW!
BBa_K4431014 Coding CatM- Specific promotes the transcription factor for CatM. Sits upstream of CatM.
BBa_K4431015 Coding This is mCherry reverse. It goes in the opposite way.
