Hi，I'm Xulin Gong, from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. My major is Chemistry. For the sake of being interested in chemical reaction kinetics and mathematical modeling, I took part in this year’s iGEM project to learn more about the application of physical chemistry and meet more friends who interests in this field. This year, I was the team leader, doing coordination work, leading our team to implement activities. After that, my main task is modeling and experimental work. I hope everything goes well this year and BIT-China can get gold medal. It would be better if we can get the best model or other awards . I also hope our team members will be long-term friends or partners in the future.

Hello, I'm Ying Chen from Zhiyi College of Beijing Institute of Technology. I'm a junior in product design. In the context of the new local educational reform, I chose biology major in high school, because of feeling the wonderful charm of biology. When I came to the university, adhering to my love for biology, I joined the BIT China team and got to know many excellent friends. We went to the IGEM competition together. In the art group, we worked together with our teammates to design illustrations, discuss videos, discuss work progress, publicize our achievements, learn and encourage together with our teammates in other groups, and follow the planning process to travel in the ocean of biology. I'm sure we can make excellent achievements.

Hello, I’m Yiting Xing. I’m from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. My major is Chemistry. The reason why I sign up for iGEM is that I was attracted by that picture which a lot of team from all kinds of country in it. At the same time, I want to participate in a comprehensive competition like iGEM to improve my research skills, I learn a lot both in human practice team and experiment team. This year, I am mainly responsible for liaising with other teams to carry out some human practice activities and writing summaries of our human practice. In my spare time, I helped the experimental group to search some literature and do some basic experiments. Hello, my name is Rongyue Sun, a student from English Language and Culture major.. I’m keen on chemistry and biology science since i was in high school. I join the IGEM competition for the sake of improving and ascending my level of professional knowledges in biochemistry. What’s more, I deem that it is a good opportunity to have access to the most advanced technology and expand my personal dimensions in various orientations. The main task for me is to attend in the experimental process, translate document such as team introduction and the compositions put on the website from Chinese to English, and take part in the final presentation. Hi, I am Anran Wang, from Beijing Institute of Technology, a junior accounting student. As a science student in high school, I regret not being able to continue my studies in chemistry, biology and other subjects that I love in college, so I participated in iGEM and was honored to join team BIT-China. Hello, I am Ting Xia, a graduate student advisor. I am responsible for constructing the chassis plasmid of the promoter that functions in a hypoxic environment; and the detection of the oxygen consumption rate of the chassis strain during the hypoxic fermentation process. It also includes the functional characterization of hypoxic promoters, the formulation of experimental protocols, and the difficult problems encountered in experiments.

Hi, I am Qiang Zhou as a postgraduate advisor,responsible for the oxygen consumption model in the modeling,including the consumption of Escherichia coli itself, laccase and leghemoglobin, and the oxygen detection module. And responsible for the strong promoter acquisition of the oxygen detection module in the experiment, and give some guidance and suggestions in other aspects.
