Jingxian Cai
The leader of our team. She was a member of experiment group and was mainly responsible for chassis selection.
Besides, she also coped with many matters of our team and details in project such as reminding deadlines,
presiding over regular meeting, communicating with other teams, writing safety form, combing the wiki outline,
preparing for presentation and so on. She did a good job in organizing team members to work in an orderly
manner.
Jiaying Wen
When the team was just established, several other students and she came up with the project idea about stem
bromelain. She was mainly responsible for the Dry Lab in the subsequent project implementation. These jobs in
detail include the directed evolution of stem bromelain, the docking calculation of stem bromelain and its
variant with BAEE, the molecular simulation, RMSD value calculation and so on.
Zhenxiang Guo
Leader of the late wet lab team. She was primarily responsible for the experimental design of the microbial
chassis. She undertook most of the laboratory maintenance during the experiments, including but not limited to
reagent purchases, liaising with professors and mentors.
Jinyi Ye
In the team, she was mainly responsible for wet lab. In detail, these jobs included the design and selection of
parts and expression vectors in both Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis through detailed literature reading
during the quarantine. As for the experiment part, she also participated in the construction of vectors,
expression of the recombinant protein, characterization of the mutated variants and so on.
Keyao Zhao
A member of Tongji_China. Mainly choose suitable parts and design experiment. Meanwhile, ask some questions to
promote partnership with other teams. Take on part of the Hp work.
Huiwen Cheng
Coming from School of Chemical Science and Engineering. He was a member of experiment group and was mainly in
charge of protein purification and physicochemical properties determination. He helped to draw up extensive
experiment protocols which were indispensable in the whole project.
Kingshuen Lu
Mainly responsible for education and public engagement: organized courses and meeting, designed card game and
questionnaires. Participated in the topic selection and help the team determine technical roadmap and
application scene. Participated in the implementation part, designed fermentation tank and the preservation plan
of the enzyme preparation. Participated in the lab work and was responsible for optimizing the induction
conditions.
Fang Yi
She was mainly responsible for the Implementation part of the project. At the same time, she was also
responsible for writing wiki and helped other sections do some research work in the early stage of the project.
Guosheng Tong
He was responsible for Integrated Human Practice. He was a member of the experimental group responsible for the
design of proof-of-concept experiments and the design of characterization experiments. He was also responsible
for team registration payment and Jamboree payment.
Peizhong Gao
He is a designer. He was a member of Design&Wiki group and was charge of visual design and PV.
Besides, he was ready to offer some creative ideas for the project. All in all, he did a great job in design and
innovation.
Yanbin Yang
The designer of our team. He was mainly responsible for the design part of the project, determining the design
style and designing the main visual elements with another designer. In addition, he also continued to work
closely with other team members and undertakes animation, web design and illustration tasks.
