The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) is the largest university in Greece. AUTh includes 10 schools, made up of 40 departments and 1 single-department school. The Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation (CIRI or KEDEK) began its operation in 2014, signaling the pursuit of AUTH to redefine the role of research for the development of the country and to form new more effective interdisciplinary cooperation structures. Laboratory of Neurodegenerative Diseases (LND) aims to create a collaborative interdisciplinary network in the field of Neurodegenerative Diseases (ND). LND focuses on innovative research approaches for early diagnosis and treatment of ND.
