Verifying sfGFP in pJUMP26-1A plasmid

In the process of our experiments, we were unable to determine whether pJUMP26-1A contained the sfGFP cassette or if it was an empty vector, as it was not specified in the Distribution Kit information. However, we confirmed and added these changes to the pJUMP26-1A KanR Type IIS Level 1 plasmid (BBa_J428350), specifically indicating the existence of an insert in the pJUMP26-1A vector.

The files containing sequencing data are attached below:

List of S. cerevisiae protocols

In completing this experiment, we were able to compile an extensive list of yeast protocols from some of our mentors. We believe that these protocols will be useful for future projects related to yeast or that require work with yeast. Find more on our Lab notebook page.

Adding BBa_K4320000 through BBa_4320028 to the Parts Registry

BBa_K4320000 through BBa_K4320028 are parts that we borrowed and created during our time working with both E. coli and with S. cerevisiae. These include gene fusions and sequences we developed as well as parts containing plasmid components from the Yeast Cloning Toolkit, as provided to us by one of our advisors, and the 2021 MIT iGEM Team.
