Parts Overview
This year, our team decided to produce recombinant engineered antibodies and antibody fragments in the SHuffle strain of E.coli as new
therapeutic agents for Dengue fever. We designed multiple new parts coding for different variants of our antibodies that we synthesized and
worked with in the duration of our project.
All of these BioBricks were codon-optimized for expression in E.coli K-12 using the SnapGene codon optimization tool.
The parts table below links to each part’s page on the BioBrick registry, where users can read about the functionality of these parts.
We hope that in the future, these bacterially produced engineered antibodies will be approved for the treatment of Dengue patients.
