Sarah Ratkovich González

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm iGEM ITESO's PI. Currently I’m working as a Genetic Engineering Professor at ITESO University, I also advice a few research and professional projects here and in other institutions. I have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Pharmacobiology, a master’s in Medical Sciences and I’m finishing my PhD in Molecular Biology. I like to learn many different things (feminism and old music are my newest fixations), watch movies, and gather with my friends. I love arts, science, animals (even bugs) and teaching is my passion.

Hello, my name is Cristobal and I'm iGEM ITESO's PI. I am a project advisor and am in charge of logistics between the university and the iGEM students. I teach cell biology at the university and advise academic and entrepreneurial projects. I have a bachelor's in Biology, a Master's Degree in Productive Biotechnology, and I am currently doing my Ph.D. in Bioprocess. I am interested in environmental issues and their link to social phenomena. I also love to exercise outside (running, hiking, climbing, biking, etc.).

Óscar Ariel Rojas Rejón

Hello, my name is Oscar, and I graduated from CINVESTAV; I’m a full-time research professor at the Technological and Industrial Processes Department here at ITESO. Since 2020 coordinator of the Biotechnology Engineering Program; my working areas are Bioreactor Engineering, Chemical and Biological Kinetics, and Fundamentals of Cell Biology. I love science, music, and the fermentation of everything.
